For any men in the audience: I’d like to invite you to MenOnPurpose.com. The two authors their are experts in porn having digested lethal doses and returned from the precipice. Also if you’re in the Oklahoma City area you can contact us and we’ll help you find a men’s group to help you deal and wives that will help your spouse. If you aren’t in the OKC area then you have to start with telling one other guy and then you two start a group for support and pulling more men out of the hole.

Over the years I’ve come to understand this subject in a new light. Sure porn is bad and it is harmful to relationships, but if you stand back and look at the underlying problem, you can see more of a bigger picture.

I think that most of us are trying to find comfort in times of agitation. If we weren’t comforted as children or didn’t learn self control, these things we lack will surface in the adult years as character problems. To get comfort we turn to porn, alcohol, food, other sex relationships, drugs etc. Each of these are addictive, but some damage relationships more than others. Each though is putting an idol in place of God. That’s why I’m always interested not so much in the surface issue as the reason why it exists in the first place. Get to the root of the issue and you’ll more likely solve the problem.

First, I want to thank Cindy for sharing, i had not read that blog before, it was hard I know. I HATE porno too, & the destruction of lives that it effects! It is a disease, hidden, because it is a secret sin that some hide, but keeps the door open for heartache, mistrust, hardships. Thanks Dusty for this blog.
