“However, as it is written: ‘No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him’ – but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit” 1 Corinthians 2:9-10
I am constantly seeking God’s will for my life. Of course, aren’t most of us? I read this verse again recently and the “revealed to us by His Spirit” part brought me a whole lot of comfort.
God has already planned our steps. He knows what our first step looks like and our last. He has already mapped out our journey. The really cool part is that the Spirit walks out our journey with us. We never go at it alone. We don’t have to play a guessing game with God’s will.
The Spirit not only guides us but, He is also our companion. And, He reveals to us His will along the way.
That’s all I got today. But it’s that just completely cool?

God’s will has been the question of many conversations at my dinner table. Can the answer be so simple that it is …..”thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. The Kingdom…..is the WILL?…And the kindom is rightousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit…Let’s do what is right, God will give us the peace and lets not forget the Holy Spirit to guide us…..can it be that simple?

I think sometime we just try to hard at making our walk with God to difficult and this includes His will. However, we do have a thing called free will and I believe that this is what always holds us back from the true will of God for our lives. If only we would stop and think is this our personal (flesh)will or the will of God. That scripture truly gives me peace, in knowing that he is with me every step of the way.
Dusty I look forward to reading your thoughts, great job!!!

Glad HE has my future mapped out because I sure don’t have a clue and REALLY glad HE is with me so I don’t have to go alone!
