Catching an early AM flight to the ATL today, so……here goes some Monday thoughts:
· My blogging friend, Scott Williams, celebrates the one-year anniversary of Big Is the New Small today. All he wants for his birthday is a shout out and some link love. So, Happy Birthday Big!
· Speaking of link love, if you haven’t clicked on over to “mental hygiene”, you’re missing out on some mental breaths of fresh air. Fun fact: Michel, author of mental hygiene, is this guy’s daughter.
· Kris and I saw Get Smart this weekend. I laughed out loud. I will probably always promote Steve Carell movies. He’s a comedic genius.
· Anna has a new imaginary friend….actually, an imaginary cousin named Boris. Still trying to figure this one out.
· I’ve been thinking about living beyond myself a little more. More to come on that one later.
What are your Monday morning thoughts?
Hey dusty, I liked the morning overview , waiting to hear the living beyond yourself segment. No doubt it will be good . Thanks for the love you are giving to Michel baby! Come visit, bring Kiris if you have too!!!Just kidding
I have heard that imaginary friends are a sign of genius.
Heres a thought:
My oldest is 18 today. I am just wondering where all that time went. It seems to have flown by in the blink of an eye.
Savor every minute of your children’s childhood(Boris too) this is the easy part. Before you know it, you’ll be looking for cars and colleges. Like Mike always told me: “Save your money. You’ll need it!” Now I know what he means.
Jenna had 2 imaginary friends. Their names were Beacon and Bresto???? Who can figure how a child’s mind works! I convinced myself that they were Jenna’s angels who were protecting her.
Give a pig “Peace Up” to the A-Town for me! Travel safe.
Dennis
Glad I can bring a smile. I try to keep it lighthearted.
