Prayers kids pray.

Our children take turns saying the prayer before we dive into some, I’m sure, delicious meal I’ve prepared.  John Henry not only blesses the food, but he also blesses every ailing person he knows and doesn’t know.  He threw me off Wednesday night when he added this:

“And, I bless that God and Jesus have a good day today in Heaven.”

I feel purr-ty certain they did.

What funny things have your kiddos prayed for?

Kids are adorable aren’t they! Bella always starts off with, ” God bless this beautiful world ( in Bella terms it sounds like Elmer Fudd because she has trouble with her “r’s”. So it’s more like “wowld”). It caracks me up everytime! God love em!

  6. Dusty, I Love how you share your children’s special moments w/all of us! I value when I someone shares a time that they treasure!
When Jessica was 3 yrs old, I was in the cafeteria with her, waiting for Jeffery to be born, 12 yrs ago, we went to say the blessing, Jessica prayed REAL loud, “Lord, bless my Mommy, my Daddy, and my new brudder coming today”! Adorable memory! Love your blogs, always!
    Merry Christmas!

It is not the words but the expressing of the words that are incredible with Michael Lance….Jon David is beginning to do it also….just the fact these kids are praying is over the top……

A little boy was overheard praying: “Lord, if You can’t make me a
better boy, don’t worry about it. I’m having a real good time like I am!”

Well, the prayers are cute for sure, but the best was : we were out to dinner when JT was about 6 and when someone asked him if he wanted to pray he said, “We don’t have to pray for this food, my mom didn’t make it.”
I still have nothing to say ’bout that.
