Francis Chan, author of Crazy Love, was on the Lifechurch.tv stage yesterday shooting his message for the upcoming One Prayer event. I could’ve gone to hear him live.

But, my dear friend, Lance, didn’t tell me about it until it was pretty much over. I’m not bitter.
Anyhoo, Lance posted a lot of Chan quotes on Twitter yesterday. This one spoke loudly:
“God does things His way in His universe. You may think you have a better way, but you don’t have a universe.”
Can you come to terms with the truth that God is God, and He does whatever He pleases? (Psalm 115:3)
And, can you trust that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them? (Romans 8:28)

Those are some great quotes. I enjoyed watching them come over The Twitter. I knew I could’ve gone…but I forgot!! And I can’t even blame that on Lance 🙂

What would we do without Lance!….yes I am closer to terms with those facts…one truth this year is His love for his children…soooo…when I am going thru something because of one of His other children…well I have to accept the way He handles things…He alwayssss takes care of me and it is a good thing that He doesn’t take my advice…and He jolly well does what pleases Him :)…and Kev I do like what Jentzeen said about the fire….the fire seems to be the place God loves to place me….:)

Read the last 2 chapters (I think) in Job where God speaks to Job and asks him questions. I have been reading it a lot of late and just love how big God is….
